Custom Design - How it Works |

We offer custom
consults by appointment, these private appointments allow us to
focus on our clients needs without the interruptions and with all
the benefits of a retail environment. Appointments are 45 minutes
long, the process is much the same both in store and online.

Custom projects always start with your ideas.
Most often there’s a particular style you’ve seen that you want to
use as a starting point. We bring your images and ideas onto our
virtual workspace and work with you to come up with a design. We
sketch, erase and revise right on the screen, it’s the best of
iterative illustration and computer-based design. |

Once our concept illustration is complete we
provide an estimate.* If you are happy with the proposal we ask for
a deposit, and within a week (or so) we provide you with both our
concept drawings and a photo realistic render. At this point you
have the opportunity to view a model, and refine the design before
we set the ring into production. Each ring we custom design now has
an illustrated story--we think that’s a pretty cool way to buy
jewellery. |

We offer custom appointments in person at our
Toronto studio, and online. If you don’t have time to visit or live
outside the GTA we can offer the same one on one design experience

much does custom cost?
|
| |
|
|
Custom engagement rings generally range between $1800
and $2000; custom wedding bands between $1500 and $1700. Both are made in
18K Oro Verde Fair Trade Gold or other FairTrade/FairMined Gold as it
becomes available. To these prices you would add your diamonds (for our

We have an extensive selection of Clear® wedding bands. Most all of
them can be customized to suit you and we can go through that when
you click the “Make an Appointment to Customize this Item” button
that you will find with each item |

long does custom take?
|
|
|
|
We like to have 2-3 weeks from the date of your deposit to
complete your ring. But sometimes we can turn things around inside
of a week--it depends upon the design and how many orders are
already pending. |

In a hurry or can't decide?
|
|
|
|
It’s difficult to choose the right style. We know that
choosing an engagement ring is a commitment in every sense of
the word. Worrying that your partner might not be pleased with
the ring is natural. But we have two options to help: |

"The Loaner" |
|
|
|
We have an extensive collection of sample rings that look like
the real thing, so you don't even have to worry about getting
your partner's ring size. We charge $200 deposit for the
loaner ring, which will get credited back against the cost of
your real ring after they say "Yes!" Now, one of your first
adventures as a newly-engaged couple will be designing the
ring together. |

Purchase one of our Certified Canadian diamonds to propose
with and, after your partner says "yes", come back to choose a
style or collaborate with us on your custom design. |
